Get to Know Clemson FCA
Clemson FCA is a non-profit, non-denominational student-led ministry on the campus of Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. We are an affiliate of the nationally-recognized Fellowship of Christian Athletes, which was originally founded in 1954. FCA’s vision is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Their mission is to present to coaches and athletes, and all whom they influence, the challenge and adventure of receiving Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church.
In applying that mission and vision to Clemson University, we have developed the tagline ‘Loving God, Loving Campus’. We achieve this by having a time of worship and fellowship every Thursday night, building community with small groups, reaching out to other students with campus missions, and impacting another city on our yearly mission trip. If any of this sounds interesting come check us out on Thursday night at 9:19 in Tillman auditorium.
We gather every Thursday night at 9:19. Our hope for Thursday nights is that students would encounter Jesus – whether for the first time or for the hundredth time. Every Thursday a local pastor or teacher shares a message with us around the Gospel. We spend some time singing songs lead by our worship band. It’s the best night of the week and we really hope you’ll come join us.
Just a quick side-note… usually we gather in Tillman auditorium, however, if the weather is nice we sometimes meet in the amphitheater instead. A change in location will be noted on the speaker list to the right as well as on our social media pages.

Commonly Asked Questions
Clemson FCA meets at 9:19 every Thursday. 9:19 is derived from 1 Corinthians 9:19, which is the verse that we identify our ministry with. "For though I am free from all, I have made myself a servant to all, that I might win more of them." We believe that Jesus led by serving those around Him, and our goal is to do the same.
How can I get involved right now?
There are many ways to get involved in FCA, and one of the biggest ways it just coming on Thursday nights as well as making it to our events! To be on an actual team, you have to apply in the spring of the previous year, so the process is a little longer, but definitely worth it. Lastly you are always welcome to join one of our men's or women's small groups. Its a great way to meet other Clemson FCA students, and draw closer to the Lord alongside other believers through community.
